Let 2012 begin!

Even though today is only the first day of 2012 I feel as if God is already teaching me new things and opening my mind.  This year I will focus on learning from my past, planning for my future and living in the present.  My pastor said it great this morning "Make someday TODAY!" If I have learned anything in the past month it has been that life comes and goes and that we are not guaranteed tomorrow.  People can be fine one day and gone the next.  I don't want to live with regret over the things I didn't do.

"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:13-14
